Obesity Medicine Association
Brand identity and strategy; print, digital, and web design; vendor management; project management
During my time at the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA), I led media production and brand strategy by managing teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver photo, video, audio, and digital content while overseeing organization-wide brand and technology usage. Below are the projects that show the depth and reach of my work for OMA.
Brand Overhaul
When I started at OMA, the organization’s brand had not been updated or revised since it underwent a rebrand in 2014. The largest part of my job was helping to lead a comprehensive brand overhaul for the OMA in collaboration with organizational leadership and a third-party marketing team. This work included developing a new brand color palette, revising brand guidelines to create a defined brand voice and communication goals, and establishing standards for logo usage. I also created a new PowerPoint template and updated print, web, and digital assets to create consistent branding throughout the various products offered by the OMA. To support long-term adoption, I organized and distributed assets through Microsoft Teams & SharePoint and Adobe’s Asset Library, as well as developing original patient graphics & illustrations to reduce reliance on stock photography and create a better sense of branding on OMA products. Below are examples of the ongoing brand overhaul.

Vector Illustrations
One of the key points of change we wanted to make during the organization’s brand overhaul was to move away from using stock images of real people when talking about things like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or other weight-related stigmatic topics. We wanted to try and eliminate any possibility of an association of stigmas like weight shaming with the stock images actors. My solution was to create a large asset library of vector illustrations that could both remove the possibility of unwanted stigma and create more specific images for use cases like data visualization or activity recommendations. This section is some of my favorites of the illustrations I created.
